Designer Assistant

Ashley brings her passion, creativity and attention to detail to every project she touches ensuring the highest quality and customer satisfaction. As a designer assistant, Ashley assists with visual renderings, accurately taking measurements in the field and creating proposals for prospective clients.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys reading a book on the beach, boxing, running with her dog and spending quality time with her family and friends.

AJ Carter

CNC Operator

AJ Carter joined PLC Closets as a CNC Operator in January 2024, bringing with him extensive experience from the construction industry, where he worked in HVAC since 2016 while attending college. He holds a degree in Communications from Florida Gulf Coast University and has previously managed his own vintage clothing and skate shop. AJ is motivated by mastering the precise and detailed operation of CNC machinery to produce high-quality results. Outside of work, he enjoys skateboarding and staying active with consistent workouts.

Katherine Russell

Designer

Since joining PLC Closets in November 2019, Katherine Russell has applied her 11+ years of design experience to create functional and aesthetically pleasing closet solutions that respect client budgets. A graduate of Northern Michigan University, she previously thrived in sales and design roles in Naples and ran her own businesses in Michigan. Katherine is driven by her passion for expanding her creative boundaries and appreciates the flexibility of working remotely. She cherishes her free time, spending it at church, with family or enjoying the beach.

Elise Russell

Designer

Elise Russell has been a dedicated designer at PLC Closets for three years. Her role involves collaborating closely with clients to enhance the functionality and aesthetic of their spaces, ensuring designs harmonize with existing home layouts. Elise finds immense satisfaction in transforming spaces to realize their full potential. In her leisure time, she enjoys attending concerts, shopping and traveling.

Jerel Robinson

Designer

Since joining the industry in 2018, Jerel Robinson has specialized in designing closets and creating detailed installation plans for installers at PLC Closets. With a background in cabinet design and a degree in Computer Information Systems, he expertly transforms client ideas into visual renderings to bring their space to life. Motivated by the opportunity to visualize and enhance living spaces, Jerel enjoys making design concepts a tangible reality for clients. Outside of work, he stays active at the gym and spends time with his dog.

Carlos Cardenas

Engineer

Carlos Cardenas has built an eight-year career in the closet and kitchen and bath industry, bringing expertise from previous roles to his engineering position at PLC Closets. As an engineer, he ensures the highest quality of products and finds great satisfaction in seeing projects completed to customers’ delight. Driven by a dream to advance within an outstanding company, Carlos continuously studies new industry trends and techniques in his free time to enhance his skills and contribute more effectively to his team.

Rich Sheckler

Shop Manager

Rich Sheckler brings over two decades of industry experience to his role as Shop Manager at PLC Closets, where he has been pivotal for the past seven years. He manages the shop and prepares jobs, drawing on his extensive background in kitchen and closet installation. In his free time, he enjoys taking care of his kids and animals.

Trinity Melton

Financial Controller

With 25 years in the custom home building industry, Trinity Melton serves as the Financial Controller at PLC Closets, leveraging her extensive background in construction management. She is a Licensed CAM (Community Association Manager) and Realtor, skilled in accounts receivable, accounts payable, job costing and client relationships. Trinity finds joy in the creative process, particularly in transforming blueprints into tangible realities. Outside the office, she enjoys concerts, boating and vacationing with her sons and family.
